About

The book is a field report.

Justin Johnson built and led an AI Center of Excellence at a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company, and now leads Applied Data and AI in R&D at an AI-driven biotech. He writes Run Data Run, publishes technical articles at AIXplore, and maintains a public harness starter kit called slopless.

He is one of the heaviest public practitioners of the exact framework this book describes. Eight autonomous agents, more than a hundred Claude Code skills, dozens of MCP servers, a homelab he runs as a daily instrument.

The book exists because the pattern he runs is not yet legible to the executives he works with, speaks to, and coaches. Most of what he does day to day is not reproducible from a slide deck. It is reproducible from a terminal, if someone shows you the first two weeks.

That is what the book and the companion site are.
